1956, Al Rappa's first recording session with Bill Haley. Al played bass and trumpet on this Decca release. "Twist en Mexico" was recorded in the "ultra-modern studios of Discos Mexicanos," in the mid-1960s. Back of album showing Al Rappa (rear) with band members. Bill Haley's 1955 chart-topper, "Rock Around the Clock," was a hit for the second time due to airplay on the TV show "Happy Days." The famous picture of Al Rappa standing on his upright bass was used as the centerpiece for this Pickwick International compilation-album cover.
